Why Sunday Market exists.
Sunday Market is a public, 18+ Minecraft survival SMP where Java and Bedrock players share one persistent world. It keeps vanilla survival as the foundation, adds systems on top, and has kept its Overworld since June 2026.
The short version
Survival first, with a market on top
You mine, build, farm and fight the way Minecraft already works. The server adds an economy that pays coins for ordinary play, market stalls where players sell to each other, copper golems with day jobs, and Wards that protect what you build.
Java and Bedrock players share the one world, Omeyocan, and it has run with the same Overworld since June 2026.

What we believe
Five ideas that shaped Sunday Market.
Community over headcount
We'd rather grow slowly with players who like each other than fill up overnight. Civil chat is the default. Adult language is welcome; targeted harm isn't.Crossplay-first
Bedrock players share builds, chat and the economy with Java players. Phones, tablets, Windows and consoles can join without a Java account. Proximity voice is an optional Java-only feature. As of September 2026, 19 of the 31 accounts that have joined are Bedrock players.Vanilla deepened, not replaced
Vanilla mining, combat and building stay the foundation. On top sit a working tavern, copper golems with day jobs, llama caravans for haulers, and Astral runes and elevators for travelers. No class menus, no skill trees, no mana.Time-weighted economy
Coins drop while you play. A diamond has a much better chance to pay than a block of stone, though each successful roll gives one coin.Built to last
No scheduled resets. The Overworld has stayed in place since June 2026 and came across intact when the server changed hosts in July 2026.
