Sunday Market

How to join a Minecraft server

To join a Minecraft server you need its address, and on Bedrock its port too. Sunday Market's address is marketsunday.com: Java connects on the default port, Bedrock on 19132. The steps below work for any server, with our numbers filled in.

What a server address and port are

A server address is the name your game uses to find a server, the same way a browser uses a web address. Sunday Market's address is marketsunday.com.

A port is the numbered door on that server your game connects through. Java Edition uses 25565 by default, so you can leave it blank. Bedrock Edition asks for a port every time; for Sunday Market it is 19132.

Step by step

Pick your edition. Both sets of steps are on this page.

Java Edition (PC, Mac, Linux)

  1. Open Minecraft Java Edition.
  2. Click Multiplayer.
  3. Click Add Server.
  4. Server name: anything you like. Sunday Market works.
  5. Server address: marketsunday.com. Leave the port off; Java uses 25565 by default.
  6. Click Done, then double-click the server entry to connect.

You need a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft Java Edition. Versions that connect: Java 26.1.2 – 26.3; recent older releases also connect.

Bedrock Edition (phone, tablet, Windows, console)

Phone, tablet or Windows

  1. Open Minecraft (Bedrock Edition).
  2. Tap Play, then the Servers tab.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add Server.
  4. Server name: Sunday Market. Server address: marketsunday.com. Port: 19132.
  5. Save, then tap the entry to join.

Xbox, PlayStation or Switch

Consoles don't let you type in a server address: Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo restrict third-party servers. The workaround the wiki documents is a free relay app on a phone or tablet.

  1. Install BedrockTogether (free) on a phone or tablet on the same Wi-Fi network as your console.
  2. In the app, enter the server marketsunday.com and port 19132.
  3. Start the relay, then open Minecraft on your console. The server appears under Friends as a joinable LAN game.
  4. Join it, and keep the app running while you play.

No Java account needed: you sign in with your Bedrock identity, and your name shows with a leading dot, like .YourName. Versions that connect: 26.30 – 26.51.

If you can't connect

Check your game version first. The server runs Minecraft 26.1.2. Java: Java 26.1.2 – 26.3; recent older releases also connect. Bedrock: 26.30 – 26.51. Brand-new snapshots and pre-releases may not connect until support for them arrives.
