Region protection
How land protection works today — Wards, the rollback system, and the planned spawn zone.
Sunday Market's protection layer is player-driven: you protect your own builds with Wards, the rollback system backs everything with accountability, and a server-enforced spawn zone is planned.
Wards — protection you place yourself
Wards are Sunday Market's first-party land claims. Place a ward block in your build and the area around it is protected — other players can't break or build inside your claim. Open the ward to manage members, so friends and co-builders can work inside while strangers can't. Bigger ward tiers cover bigger areas.
Wards are physical and in-world by design: no chunk grids, no claim commands — a block you place, see, and build around.

Spawn protection — planned
A server-enforced protected zone around spawn (no PvP, no block damage) is planned but not live yet. Until it ships, spawn is protected the same way everything else is — community norms, Wards, and rollback. Treat spawn as everyone's front door: no fighting, no griefing, no exceptions.
Rollback — the accountability layer
The server runs a rollback system that records block changes — timestamp, player, block type, coordinates. Staff can investigate griefing after the fact and reverse it. Protection may be local to your ward, but accountability is global.
Staff regions — by request
For large community builds (multi-player towns, public infrastructure) that outgrow a single ward, staff can set up a server-enforced protected region by request. File a ticket with /helpop — these are granted sparingly, for builds the community depends on.
What if I'm griefed?
The rules apply everywhere, warded or not. Griefing other players' builds is a punishable offense even where the server doesn't physically prevent it. Document it, report with /helpop, and staff can roll it back. See Building & griefing.
