Automation
Caravans, the Smeltery, wireless item networks, Ender Hoppers, and copper-golem Work Orders — the systems that do the busywork while you play.
Automation on Sunday Market is about letting the world work for you. Set up the systems once, and ore smelts itself, loot sorts itself, golems run your errands, and llamas haul your haul home. Nothing here is a command line — you craft a tool or build a structure, and it just runs.
The four builds
- Caravans — form your pack llamas into a train that walks in formation with up to 90 slots of saddlebags between them. Load the bags at a far-off mining camp and the caravan runs storage trips home while you keep working. Guards travel with the train, so a skeleton ambush doesn't end the shipment.
- The Smeltery — a multiblock you build in the world to bulk-smelt a whole haul of raw ore at once, far faster than a wall of single furnaces.
- The Item Network — dump loot into one input chest and a wireless network files every item into the sorted container that holds its kind, with a fallback so nothing is ever lost. No hoppers, no rails.
- Ender Hoppers — a hopper that pipes whatever it collects straight into your Ender Chest, so a remote farm feeds the storage you carry everywhere.
Golems and linked storage
- Work Orders — hand a copper golem a job tool and it takes a Work Order: hauling between chests, stoking furnaces, restocking, sweeping drops, sorting, or tending crops. They walk real routes and answer a whistle — crew, not furniture.
- Linked chests — join several chests into one shared inventory, the storage backbone that pairs with the Item Network's sorting.
Where automation stops
Automation here handles logistics, not gameplay. Nothing farms coins for you, nothing plays the game while you're away — the economy pays for your actions, and the machines just carry, sort, and smelt what you earned.
