Restocker
A copper golem that keeps a container topped up to a target — pulling just the deficit from a supply so the shelf never runs dry and never overflows.
A Restocker keeps a container topped up. Point one at a supply and a shelf, and whenever the shelf's level drops it walks a refill over — pulling only the deficit, never overshooting. Perfect for keeping a barter chest stocked, a dispenser loaded, or a quick-grab chest never empty.
The recipe
How to use it
- Craft the Restocker Work Order.— copper frame + paper + barrel
- Right-click a copper golem holding the Work Order.— the slip is consumed; a ✦ Restocker nameplate appears
- Tap the supply container — the bulk store the golem draws from.— a 30-second bind window; both stops within 48 blocks
- Tap the container it should keep topped up.
From then on the golem watches the shelf and keeps it stocked up to its target — a stack (64) of each item on its list by default. When the level dips, it fetches exactly enough to fill the gap and no more.
Choosing what it stocks
The Restocker shares the Courier's filter editor: sneak and right-click the golem while holding another Restocker Work Order to open it — 7 filter slots, a whitelist/blacklist toggle, and Done. Click items in your inventory to add their types as ghost copies (nothing is taken, up to 7 types); an empty filter means it stocks whatever the supply offers.
Sneak first! The same click without sneaking re-assigns the job and wipes the route. Full walkthrough on Routes & Filters.
Restocker vs Courier
A Courier drains its pickup into the drop-off as fast as it can. A Restocker is gentler — it only moves enough to maintain a level, and stops once the shelf is at target. Use a Restocker when you want a shelf kept at a stack and no more.
Good to know
- The Restocker works only while a player is within 64 blocks of the golem or its containers — it keeps shelves stocked, it doesn't run your stall while you're offline.
- It carries 16 items per trip, one type at a time, and never duplicates or voids a thing.
- Oxidation never slows it — full speed until it fully oxidises and freezes. A frozen one glows; wax with honeycomb. See Golem Care.
- The Work Order is consumed on assignment.
