Waystones
Craft, place, and activate waystones, then fast-travel instantly between any you have discovered.
Waystones are the flagship travel network on Sunday Market. You place a stone marker at a spot worth returning to, give it a name, and from then on you can jump to it from any other waystone you have visited. No commands, no cooldown, no waiting for a portal to load. Build a handful and your whole map shrinks to a menu.
The catch keeps the wilderness honest: you only reach a waystone the first time by walking there. Every stop on your menu is a place you earned on foot.
Set up your first waystone
- Craft a Waystone at a
crafting table. - Carry it to a spot you want as a permanent stop — an entryway, a mine mouth, a farm — and set it on the ground.
- Right-click the placed waystone to activate it. It asks you to give it a name. Pick something you will recognize from a list, like "Home Farm" or "North Mine."
That is one node on the network. On its own it will send you nowhere yet — you need at least two to travel between.
Discovering vs. activating
These are two different things, and the difference matters.
- Activating happens once, when you place a waystone and name it. That puts the stone on the map as a live stop.
- Discovering is per player. The first time you walk up to any active waystone and Right-click it, that stop is added to your personal travel list. After that you can jump to it from anywhere.
So a waystone someone else built is invisible on your menu until you visit it in person the first time. Go there once on foot, and it is yours to hop to forever.
Travel between them
Once you have discovered two or more, Right-click any activated waystone to open the travel menu. It lists every stop you have discovered. Click one, and you arrive instantly.
Waystones are shared. Any player who visits your stone discovers it too, so a well-placed public waystone at spawn or a market becomes a doorway the whole server can use. Name yours clearly so nobody guesses which is which.
PvP is on across the world. You appear standing at the destination stone with no warning, so do not build a public waystone somewhere you would hate to be ambushed.
Waystones vs. Astral runes
Both get you across the map without a single command. They just feel different.

Many players run both: waystones for the sprawling web of places they return to, runes for a couple of tight round-trip pads inside a base.
